The Bump emerged in the spring of 1969 out of Detroit's psychedelic pop scene. The band's founding members, bassist/vocalist George Runyan and keyboardist Paul Lupien, held open auditions to fill the open guitar and drum positions, finally settling on Alan Goldman and Jerome Charles Greenberg, respectively, who had themselves been a team of several years going back to their high school friendship.
Runyan came up with the band name after seeing a roadside sign. Lupien was the band's primary songwriter, he already had a backlog of songs coming into the band. Runyan and Greenberg were, although less prodigious, also writers, so the band instantly had original material to practice and perform. By the late summer of 1969, the Bump had sufficiently worked up their material and were signed by a local 8-track recording studio, Pioneer, which also provided the band with management, equipment, booking, rehearsal space, recording facilities, even its own label.
They recorded two singles and two LPs for the label. The first, self-titled album received favorable reviews in publications such as Billboard and Record World magazines, but was not enough promoted to chart nationally. (allmusic.by Stanton Swihart)
From this album i chose "Daydream Song" and "From My Slot". Enjoy!!!
Los Dug Dug's are a rock group from Durango, Mexico, best known for their work in the 60s and early 70s. They were one of the first Mexican bands to adapt The Beatles' influence and are noted as one of the first Mexican bands to write their own songs, as well as cover songs by British and American acts in English, thus breaking what had up to then been an unwritten rule in Mexican rock. They continue to perform today.(wiki)
From their second album "Smog" who released in 1972 on RCA Victor,i chose "Smog" and "No Somos Malos". Enjoy!!!
The Undisputed Truth was a 1970s Motown recording act, assembled by record producer Norman Whitfield as a means for being able to experiment with his psychedelic soul production techniques. Joe "Pep" Harris served as main lead singer, with Billie Rae Calvin and Brenda Joyce Evans on additional leads and background vocals.
"The Undisputed Truth" is the self titled debut album of the Motown group of the same name.Released in 1971 on Gordy label (G -955L) and was produced entirely by Norman Whitfield. The album itself mixes the traditional Motown sound with psychedelic-influenced soul music. (wiki)
From this great album i chose "Smiling Faces Sometimes","Ball of Confusion (That's What the World is Today)" and "Ain't No Sun Since You've Been Gone". Enjoy!!!

Tzimis Panousis (Greek: Δημήτρης "Τζίμης" Πανούσης) (12 February 1954 – 13 January 2018) was a Greek musician, stand-up comedian and occasional film and theater actor born in Athens, where he has spent most of his life. His fans often refer to him as “Tzimakos” (little Jim). He was married to Lili Achladioti and has a son, Aris and a daughter Fotini. Panousis died on 13 January 2018 after suffering a heart attack at his home in Athens. He had previously been hospitalized after collapsing on stage in December 2017.
Panousis made his first appearance in the mid-1970s, performing in various pubs, with his band "Mousikes Taxiarhies" (Musical Brigades, Greek: Μουσικές Ταξιαρχίες). Panousis was the vocalist and main composer of the group. Their first (unofficial) album was Disco Tsoutsouni (Disco Weenie) released in 1980. It was an illegally published tape, many songs of which were later rerecorded for the band's official debut, their eponymous album in 1982. (wiki)
From this album i chose " O Tekes", "To Paidi Tou Solina" and "Gia Ti Giorti Tis Miteras". RIP
"Aie a Mwana" is the best-known title of a song originally written by the French-Belgian writing and production team of Daniel Vangarde and Jean Kluger. The original song was called "Aieaoa", and was featured on the pseudo-Japanese dance album by Yamasuki Singers titled "Le Monde Fabuleux Des Yamasuki", which was released in 1971.
In 1975, a version with predominantly Swahili lyrics by Black Blood, an African group recording in Belgium, was released as "A.I.E. (A Mwana)".
This is the original 1971 Spanish release of Yamasuki Singers single, who contains "Yamasuki/Aieaoa" and released by Belter (07-917). Enjoy!!!
The Moving Sidewalks was an American psychedelic blues rock band, most notable for giving future ZZ Top guitarist, Billy Gibbons, his start in the music business. The band consisted of Gibbons on guitar, Don Summers on bass, Dan Mitchell on drums and Tom Moore on keyboards.(wiki)
Doris Svensson (born July 1, 1947 in Gothenburg), billed as Doris, is a former Swedish pop singer. Doris is best known for her lone solo album, eclectic pop, rock and funk "Did You Give the World Some Love Today Baby" recorded in 1970.
In April 1970, Doris went to record in the EMI studios of Stockholm. Most of the lyrics of the songs were by Scottish writer Francis Cowan. The material was composed by TV producer, jazz-pianist, and composer Berndt Egerbladh. He also provided the big band brass arrangements for the tracks. The heavy drumming on the tracks was performed by Janne Carlsson from the duo Hansson & Karlsson, and the bass was played by Doris's husband Lukas Lindholm. The album "Did You Give the World Some Love Today Baby" was issued by Odeon in Sweden, 1970. (wiki)
From this album i chose "Don't", "Beatmaker" and "You Never Come Closer". Enjoy!!!
The Mint Tattoo was born as an offshoot of the legendary 60's proto punk acid band Blue Cheer. Bruce Stevens and Ralph (Burns) Kellogg had played together in Blue Cheer on band's self titled album in 1969, but after that one album, Stevens left the band to pursue other interests. Kellogg stayed on with Blue Cheer until the demise of the band in 1971, but during his tenure with Blue Cheer he reunited with Stevens along with drummer Gregg Thomas to form the band Mint Tattoo. Produced by James William Guercio (Chicago) and engineered by Phil Ramone in New York, the Mint Tattoo is a mixture of blues styled original songs, a cover of classic a blues numbers and some rather uninspired, typical for the era hard rock tunes.(allmusic)
Their one and only selftitled album released in 1969 by Dot Records (DLP- 25918). I chose "Faces Of Roses", "Mark Of The Beast" and "With Love". Enjoy!!!

Graham John Clifton Bond (Born: October 28, 1937, Romford, Essex, England--
Died: May 8, 1974, Finsbury Park Station, London, England) was a influential blues keyboardist. He was found dead of an apparent suicide beneath a tube train at the Finsbury Park Station in 1974.
Bond was an innovator, described as "an important, under-appreciated figure of early British R&B", along with Cyril Davies and Alexis Korner. Jack Bruce, John McLaughlin and Ginger Baker first achieved prominence in his group, the Graham Bond Organisation.
After the break-up of the Organisation, Bond continued to exhibit mental disorders, with manic episodes and periods of intense depression, exacerbated by heavy drug use. Moving to America, he recorded two albums and performed session work for Harvey Mandel and Dr. John among others, but he returned to England in 1969.(wiki)
His second US album "Mighty Grahame Bond" released on Pulsar Records (AR- 10606).I chose "Water, Water","Freaky Beak" and "Baroque". Enjoy!!!
exploito
One from mr. Mullers book of tricks,
look what is popular in the charts, hire some good musicians who have no work at the moment, pay them cash for a few days in the studio and as part of the deal the writing-credits of some jamsessions go to mr Muller.
Again the same on this album , Santana's early 70s charthits are covered incl 2 so-called selfwritten mr. Muller songs and one called 'Sierra-do-mar' could have been on a Santana album.
overall: its surprisingly a good album , ok some tracks ad nothing to the Santana version but also a few tracks actually do.(by purpleoverdose)

The album released in 1973 by Stereo Gold Award (MER 377).I chose "Oye Como Va", "No One To Depend On" and "Jingo". Enjoy!!!
Cleveland acid rock combo the Damnation Of Adam Blessing was formed in 1968 from the ashes of a pair of local garage bands, the Society and Dust, led by frontman Adam Blessing (Bill Constable), the group also included guitarists Jim Quinn and Bob Kalamasz, bassist Ray Benich, and drummer Bill Schwark. After months of relentless local gigging -- often as the opener for hometown heroes the James Gang -- the Damnation Of Adam Blessing signed to United Artists and issued their self-titled debut LP in 1969, followed by a tour in support of the Faces.(allmusic)
From their first self-titled LP on United Artists (UAS 6738), i chose "Cookbook", "Dreams" and "Lonely". Enjoy!!!
Agape was a hippie-era psychedelic hard rock act that used the music of youth rebellion to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Fred Caban was a young guitarist from Azusa, CA, who became a born-again Christian shortly after graduating from high school in 1968. In an effort to help evangelize his peers, Caban formed the band with bassist John Peckhart and drummer Mike Jungkman. They were one of the earliest Christian rock bands, established in a time when the music they played was still being shunned by established churches (the few they approached for concerts rejected the loud music they played, despite the message). Agape performed wherever they could, on beaches, in schools, and in parks, and released their debut album in 1971.(allmusic)
Originally issued on Mark Records and is now extremely rare. This is the 1988 Italian reissue of this album by Hablabel (HBL 11001). I chose "Blind", "Believe" and "Choose". Enjoy!!!
Stoneground was a rock band formed in 1970 in Concord, California. Originally a trio, Stoneground expanded to a 10-piece band by the time of their eponymous 1971 debut album. The group appeared in two films, Medicine Ball Caravan (1971) and Dracula A.D. 1972 (1972), and released three albums before singer Sal Valentino quit in 1973.
Stoneground was formed in 1968 in the San Francisco suburb of Concord, California. The original lineup consisted of Tim Barnes (guitars, vocals), Luther Bildt (guitars, vocals), and Mike Mau (drums). Band manager and former Autumn Records executive Tom Donahue introduced the band to ex-Beau Brummels singer Sal Valentino and John Blakely (guitars, bass), both of whom joined Stoneground. Four female vocalists—Annie Sampson, Lynne Hughes, Lydia Phillips, and Deirdre LaPorte—were also added to the group. While touring America and Europe, the band added another new member, bassist/keyboardist Pete Sears, later of Jefferson Starship and Hot Tuna.
"Stoneground 3", sometimes stylized as Stoneground Three, is the third album by American rock band Stoneground, released in 1972 on Warner Bros (BS 2645). It was the final studio album to feature the band's original lineup, as eight of the ten members quit shortly after the album's release.(wiki)
From this album i chose "From A Sad Man Into A Deep Blue Sea", "Dancin'" and "Down To The Bottom". Enjoy!!!
Barrabás are a Spanish musical group, most successful in the 1970s and 1980s when they were led by drummer and producer Fernando Arbex. The group's musical style was initially Latin rock with jazz and funk influences, and later developed into a more disco-orientated sound.
Wild Safari is a 1971 album by the Spanish group Barrabás, released outside Spain in January 1972. The album was released in some countries under the simple title Barrabás, with a different sleeve design. It was also known as Música Caliente after its subtitle on the back sleeve.
The tracks "Woman" and "Wild Safari" were released as singles in various countries, and "Woman" became a club hit in Europe, Canada and the USA. (wiki) I chose those two songs from their first album. Enjoy!!!

The Fool were a Dutch design collective and band in the psychedelic style of art in British popular music in the late 1960s. The group was named in reference to the Fool tarot card.
The original members were Dutch artists Simon (Seemon) Posthuma and Marijke Koger, who were discovered by photographer Karl Ferris among the hippie community on the Spanish island of Ibiza in 1966. He took photographs of clothes they designed, and sent them to London where they were published in The Times. Ferris took The Fool back to London, and together they opened a studio, with the Dutch artists producing clothes and art, and Ferris pursuing photography. Barry Finch and artist Josje Leeger joined later.

Their work includes:

the colourful clothes worn by the Hollies on the cover of their 1967 album Evolution
stage costumes and the front cover design for the self-titled 1967 debut LP Move by the Move
stage costumes for Procol Harum
the cover of the Incredible String Band's 1967 LP The 5000 Spirits or the Layers of the Onion
stage costumes and decoration to instruments used by Cream, including Eric Clapton's famed Gibson SG guitar named also The Fool, Jack Bruce's Fender Bass VI bass, and Ginger Baker's drum kit, created for the group's 1967 tour of the US.

The Fool's best known artworks are those they created for the Beatles in 1966–67.

After moving to Los Angeles, the Fool created the largest mural in the world at the time (1968) on the exterior of the Aquarius Theatre for a production of the Broadway musical Hair, by invitation of producer Michael Butler. Simon and Marijke went on to paint other theaters where Hair was playing, in San Francisco, Seattle and Chicago. Thereafter, The Fool split up, Simon, Barry and Yosha eventually going back to Amsterdam while Marijke remained in Los Angeles to continue her artistic endeavors.(wiki)
The Fool also released an eponymous album The Fool in 1968, in the psychedelic folk style, produced by Graham Nash. From this album i chose "Fly", "No One Will Ever Know" and "Reincarnation". Enjoy!!!
