Marc Cerrone (born 1952 in Vitry-sur-Seine, near Paris, France) is a French disco drummer, composer, record producer and creator of major concert shows. Cerrone is considered as one of the most influential disco producers of the 70s and 80s in Europe.
His first recordings as a part of Kongas were released on Barclay Records. He is most famous from the Kongas days for "Anikana-O", co-written and produced by Alec R. Costandinos. (wiki)
"Anikana-O" released in 1978 by Barclay Records (91 021) on green vinyl. I chose the two afro-funk songs from this album, "Anikana-O" and "Jungle".Enjoy!!!
