Ramon "Mongo" Santamaria Rodriguez (April 7, 1917 – February 1, 2003) was a rumba quinto master and an Afro-Cuban Latin jazz percussionist.
From the 1965 album "El Pussy Cat" (Columbia -CS 9098) i chose the "Afro Lypso" song, written by Santamaria's trumpeteer Marty Sheller.
