Sergio Santos Mendes is a Brazilian musician. He has over 55 releases, and plays bossa nova heavily crossed with jazz and funk. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2012 as co-writer of the song "Real In Rio" from the animated film Rio.(wiki)
In 1970 Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66 release in USA the album "Stillness" on A&M Records (SP-4284).
From this great album i chose two cover versions, Paula Stone's "Righteous Life" and Blood Sweat and Tears' "Sometimes In Winter".
